RADICAL HUMAN
Radical times require radical humans. Radical Acts of Service. Radical Acts of Standing. Radical Acts of Love.
Radical Human dives into what radicality means at this hour, stripping it of empirical and cultural damming and condemnation to call forth the essence of our innate radical humanity, in support of the radical shift and changing seas of our times.
Radical times call for radical humans
WHAT IS RADICAL HUMAN?
Radical human, is a mythical journey, into the rubble of the collapse of western civilisation.
We come together at the death, to light fires for what may come, to ask, what it means to be human, at this time, in the rubble together, as individual cells, and as a collective whole.
We ask how each want to live, to move, to respond, now. We ask ourselves to write new parables and myths together, of Earth, of culture. Of how we live, move with, and go to war with one another. We ask what needs to be given back to life, and what needs to be fiercely protected.
We ask what radicality means on a deep cellular level, how radicality is the deeper root of our true humanity that the miasma of modernity has attempted to subdue and erase, and how we may, from the ground up, birth together, from the ashes of empire, a different culture, a different civilisation, in the reality of the interconnectedness of all life, and our seperation.
We ask how we move into the world in service and as part of life, how we hold the fire of hope alive in us in the tension of our current paradigm’s shift, fracture, and hoped transfiguration.
We meet, in the reality of the dying, and with the single prayer, that we are human, that we are alive now, and we were made for these times. That they are the neccessary conditions, for the radical shift of what is to be human, on this green and blue jewel of a planet, we call Earth.
WHO IS RADICAL HUMAN FOR?
Radical human is for those people who feel called to stand for the radical shift and change of civilisational, from the rubble and ashes of the collapse.
It is for anyone who feels a burn, deep in their guts, that radical change is needed, neccessary, and already in motion.
It is for those people who want to come together with others, to be in a field of other humans who have this change beating at their cores, and who wish to gather, in their core, the will, the creativity, the intelligence, and the love to make that change possible.
It is for those who are done with what we have been given as culture and society, a ready to stand, to unite, to breath with what life is coming through the cracks of our times.
HOW WE ARE HOPING TO APPROACH THIS TERRITORY TOGETHER?
Tenderly. Corragously. From a place of being risen in our humanity to have the capacity to face and meet crisis, with as much of our human capacity as we have access to, now. Our backgrounds are steeped in deep ecology, individual and relational somatics, neuro-science, human linguistics, civilisational perspectives on shift and change, on an individual and collective lens.
Our aim is to both lead and also to be led by the life of the group. We do this through the use of what we call Windows of God.
Windows of God offer up windows that we gaze through together, into the rubble, looking back to the great before, looking into the now, and looking to the great beyond, to support us to ground into the soma of radicality together now.
The first part of the weekend will be held by us, and the last day opened up to the life of the group, to choose the course of exploration.
We will attempt to work with these territories with grace, depth, levity, laughter, seriousness, honesty, play, clarity, and curiosity, bringing the range of our humanity to bear, in support of our collective exploration.
Our attempt is to work together as a group, to hum, and vibrate as a group together, and to go together on this journey with our humanity, soul, and spirit.

WHO WE ARE
We live together on a piece of land outside of Stroud. Radical Human has come from working and listening together to what this specific piece of land wants to call forth from us together as a group of humans who live here.
Each of us holds different influences and perspectives on what it means to be human, at this particular, and we aim to share this confluence with you.
I'm interested in how we might together, create, the radical shift, of western civilisation, from the rubble of our dying paradigm. I'm interested in the power of story, of language, of myth, of song, of sound, to support us to do that.
I'm interested in humanity, and how we are human together, and what these times are calling forth from each of us and how we might meet them together. I'm interested in supporting our cohesion with one another, with life, and supporting people to remember that we re part of life, that we are connected with our world. And I am interested in supporting us to stand, and to stand together for this.
I'm influenced, and inspired by such radical humans and the work of Jem Bendell (Deep Adaption), Joanna Macy (The Work That Reconnects), Satish Kumar, Stephen Harding (The Work of Schumacher College), the artistic and visionary work of Sophie Strand, Bayo Akomolafe, Maya Luna, Ocean Vuong, Mary Oliver, J.K. Rowling, Philip Pullman, J.R.R Tolkein, Spirit of The Lion, and others.
I'm here for the depth and the risenness of our humanity, the brilliance of our minds, and the rememberance of our souls. And I'm here for art, for creation, from the cracks.
I'm interested in how we can return to treating our bodies as a fertile land and a living library of human stories alive in our bones and blood. How to see it as a direct reflection of our relationship with the Earth and come back into right relationship with her that’s not extractive but reverent of her resources and provision of life. I’m interested in how we bring our spirituality and ritual back to basics and see sacred in all life. Bringing back reverence into mundane existence. Back to experiencing life as a living devotional prayer and our words and actions as embodied scripture.
I'm interested in humanity and what it means to be a good human in these times. How we can turn back to each other rather than look away. In how we come back to seeing human craftsmanship as an expression of art form that we all are. In how we attune back to our nature and understand the thread that we are weaving into the wider human tapestry. I’m interested in understanding how we as humans come back to see ourselves as custodians of this Earth and our civilisation and how we step towards taking responsibility for how we choose to live, create and contribute in this lifetime. In how we choose to build a legacy that lives on. Weaving in the remembrance of the codes of creation that live in our bodies and elemental origins of life infused and penetrated by the spirit.
I am here for breaking the spells and curses of the empire that is a living consciousness that occupies our minds, bodies and history of our bloodlines because they are the river of life and truth that runs through our veins. I am here for dissolving the structures of the empire and exposing of its lies and how it affects our sense of identity, radiance, confidence and courage to live fully expressed in our truth. In our nature. For aligning ourselves with our values and finding the cause that we are willing to fully live for. For breathing life into people and setting their human spirit on fire that burns with wild love for life.
I’m interested in the resurrection of the spirit of life as an embodied way of being and restoration of aliveness through deep intimacy with the soma, prayer and presence of the original Union.
I’m interested in holding point for the choosing of aliveness that penetrates through the spells of the world and advocating for the freedom that gets to become embodied in that choosing.
I’m interested in the place where, through our deep rooting in the body and meeting the sensational experience of life, that we can be liberated from the threads of perception and memory that hold us bound in a distorted view of now.
I’m interested in how we meet here together in an honest, life giving and loving way that breeds restoration, regeneration and regulation. A place where we turn to face each other in deep listening to the flame of life that burns at the core of all of us, that which breathes us and moves us. I’m interested in how we move together rooted and risen.
I’m interested in living in fierce devotion to an inner harmony that restores a deep relationship with, and honouring of, our human family, the land we live on and the light of aliveness that animates us, anchored in the flesh and catching like wild fire in the hearts of those that witness us, touch us and rub up against us.
