ARTISTS OF THE BLOOMING
Bringing art, to the heart, of civilisational collapse and change.
Bringing soul and spirit back to the heart of mainstream art.
Rousing RENAISANCE to rouse the heart of humanity through crisis.

Can you hear the sound of RENAISANCE too?
We can hear something stirring in the heart of humanity. Perhaps you can hear it too?
Just whisper it, but the sound of RENAISSANCE is alive on the wind, on the tongues of the poets, and in the ears of lyricists strumming out notes again from the mad, ecstatic vine of the divine.
Artists of the Blooming is responding to this whisper, creating the soil, for artists to come together, and to meet in, and create from, the wild metamorphic fires of our times.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to support people, to become ‘Artists of the Blooming’.
For us, artists of the blooming are artists who are choosing to creatively meet, the falling apart of our world, with equal amounts of beauty, and truth, ferocity and tenderness.
They are artists who able to turn towards the darkness of our world, and at the same time hold a torch, a flame, of hope, for humanity, that this is the tension we have been waiting for, and that collapse is neccessary, to flower the world anew.
We are dedicated to supporting artists to creatively fulfill their role, in the times we are living through, to deepen into the creative practice, their transmissions, and to become torch-bearers, for these times.
FROM THE ASHES
AUTUMN EQUINOX GATHERING
Just before autumn equinox, we are holding a gathering, to experiment with, supporting artists, to tap in, to what it would mean to becoming ‘Artists of the Blooming’.
Over 4 days and 3 nights, we will dive, into the heart, of crisis, together, asking ourselves, as artists, how do we respond, and create from, the ashes.
Through individual and group inquiry, creative practice, movement and embodiment work, working with collective creative intelligence, and more, our aim is to support artists to individually become a torch-bearer, and to learn how to collectively blaze together.
PILLARS OF OUR WORK AND THE RESIDENCY
THE TORCH-BEARERS
Throughout the ages, through the darkest of times, there have always been artists who have carried the torch for the soul of humanity.
The torch-bearers kept the flame alive through cultures that dampened and suppressed it. The torch-bearers lit the way for humanity, giving people hope, a vision for humanity to move towards.
We recognise ourselves as part of a lineage of torchbearers, the current inheritors of the deep and abiding human longings for truth, beauty, freedom, and love.
HEART OF CRISIS
We meet the heart-crack as the place where things break open to break through, and in the recognition that ‘the crack is where the light gets in’.
We recognise that things, our world is breaking down, that grief is fertile, and is the necessary ground for art that has depth, has soul, has life.
We recognise that the alchemy of creativity often comes through transmuting pain to art.
ROUSING RENAISANCE
We work with the spirit of RENAISSANCE, working with the aim of supporting the sparking of a new RENAISSANCE that is inspired by soul and spirit, that rouses the heart of humanity towards beauty, hope, possibility, and that speaks to the human condition in a way that has the capacity to move us, and to support us to remember our true nature.
Just like the torch-bearers before us, we believe it will be the artists, born for these times, who have the capacity to rouse us towards change. It is the artists who sing in, and speak in change and have the ability to cut through the rhetoric, and soundbites of our world, to rouse us towards our common humanity.

WHO WE ARE
Dom Bury
I'm interested in how we might together, create, the radical shift, of western civilisation, from the rubble of our dying paradigm. I'm interested in the power of story, of language, of myth, of song, of sound, to support us to do that.
I'm interested in humanity, and how we are human together, and what these times are calling forth from each of us and how we might meet them together. I'm interested in supporting our cohesion with one another, with life, and supporting people to remember that we re part of life, that we are connected with our world. And I am interested in supporting us to stand, and to stand together for this.
I'm influenced, and inspired by such radical humans and the work of Jem Bendell (Deep Adaption), Joanna Macy (The Work That Reconnects), Satish Kumar, Stephen Harding (The Work of Schumacher College), the artistic and visionary work of Sophie Strand, Bayo Akomolafe, Maya Luna, Ocean Vuong, Mary Oliver, J.K. Rowling, Philip Pullman, J.R.R Tolkein, Spirit of The Lion, and others.
I'm here for the depth and the risenness of our humanity, the brilliance of our minds, and the rememberance of our souls. And I'm here for art, for creation, from the cracks.
Bonny Tydeman
I’m Bonny - a soulful leadership coach, psycho-spiritual guide & spoken word artist… What brought me to soul work was a desperate sense of alienation. I spent so much of my life feeling unseen and misunderstood, struggling to fit in and to feel inspired and fulfilled by following conventional notions of ‘success’.
I desperately yearned for more depth and intimacy in my life, but I didn’t know how to create it, or even to name what was missing. I distracted myself from the pain of disconnection by numbing out with drugs and alcohol, and sunk deeper into existential despair. I had to spend years trying to escape life before I was willing to embrace it.
The thing that kept me going - even in my darkest moments - was Art. Art offered me a lifeline - a way to connect with what it means to be human. I took refuge in the study of creativity and spirituality where I felt at home among ‘alternative’ thinkers who seemed to share my sentiment that the pursuit of truth, beauty, freedom and love should be the priorities in a life.
